I always wanted to
order from The Junky Spot. I saw chocolate dolls and broke down. I also got an
Obitsu 11cm doll with elf ears. These dolls are perfect for the 12th scale dollhouse cabin. I didn't buy any eyes or accessories to go with them yet. So this is
just about opening the box and what's inside.
I was totally amazed
that I got my order within the week. I thought it would be like months of
waiting.
This first doll is Hujoo Ted in chocolate skin. I believe these dolls are made from ABS plastic. I haven't managed to get the head open yet but I will. I will go to the junkyspot.com site and read about it again. I think they have pegs inside.
I noticed a little bit of the stringing is hanging out. That's cool. The doll has so many joints for such a tiny doll. Next, is the Obitsu 11 cm body and Paxabox elf head in fleshtone. At first I thought the skin tone didn't match but it does.
The head is flexible and just squeezed right onto the body without much push at all.
The package contains extra hands and adapters for folks wanting to use different body or heads. The head cap goes on with just a squeeze and a turn. The doll has eye cups for glass or acrylic 8mm eyes.
The really cool thing is the magnets in the feet. They are like Fairyland dolls and can stick to metal.
Here is the doll standing up on my Harbor Freight shears with magnets. Hope I don't stick him somewhere and lose him.
This next photo shows the difference in Obitsu/Parabox and Hujoo sizes. Hujoo is bigger with a bigger head.
We got free prizes too--a yellow dog I think I'll name ol' yellow. The dog is perfect to the doll's scale too.
The dog's head is poseable.
The dog's head comes apart like a bjd and has an eye plate for its beady little black eyes. So cool. I wonder what other colors can be had?
A big treat like a gummy bear?
