I did another one of my doll blushings this weekend, while cooling off from all the yard work I needed to do. This time I used the pink Conte chalk in my box, because I wanted a more babyish look for this tiny elf doll. I gave her blonde eyelashes because that's really all I have. I got a special on 4 packs of doll eyelashes for 1 dollar. I thought they were pretty or I wouldn't have even paid that much. I got this poor blank doll secondhand with a pair of strange eyes. I put some eyes from another doll in her to see what works for me. I liked green the best. They came from a doll Chateau. I liked the iris sizes in these eyes. They are not so glaring and haunting to me. I looked at baby portraits to get an idea of how I wanted to blush her. She came with 2 extra pairs of hands I blushed also. She fits well in my old log cabin I built a while back. The cabin seems to be more of an 1/8th scale than a 1/12th scale. This doll is an 1/8th scale doll. I am thinking of converting it into a fairy house for my tiny elf dolls. I got the wig with another doll a while ago. It feels and looks like a person's hair. I thought it looked kind of cute on her till I make something I like better.
I blushed her backside a little.
The tiny dolls pose well without much work at all. They seem to be sturdier unless they have skinny little bodies with those big heads. I really prefer fixing the doll up myself. I have noticed so much black makeup on such tiny baby dolls. It's super cute but not what I like.
