I got this poor little doll out of her box again today, trying to like her. She still has a funny cast to her under the indoors light, but she looks nice in natural lighting. I had her standing next to some of my quarter scale dolls and realized that I am always comparing the dolls to one another. The good thing about that would be I noticed she can wear a few clothes of theirs. The bad thing is I critique the dolls about various things like eye sizes and some dolls look too white or too orange. I am promising myself to just enjoy the dolls now. Although I did buy a package of different sized eyes for my dolls to determine which eye color and eye size complements them the best. One comparison is at the end of this post.
The 13" mini pal doll from an Effner sculpt can share a few things from the Goodreau MIM doll, and Minifee. Some of the skirts and pants that were already loose on Minifee didn't fit her and would easily fall down. The cheerleader out fit was a bit snug around the waist but okay.

 The panties fit too.

A jacket fit somewhat snugly.

I took Taylor's eye mechanism out and put green glass BJD eyes with eye putty in her to see if she would look different. She didn't really change much but I liked her. The first picture is with her MIM eyes and the second picture is with her green glass eyes.
The main difference without the eye mechanism is I can focus the eyes any way I want. The eye mechanism holds the eyes in one fixed position. I do love the big-eyed doll stare on this doll as much or more than any other look.
