Most Amazing Doll Ever, Doll Chateau: Nude Dolls
I got Doll Chateau Stacy today by Express Airmail from China. This is definitely nicer than most I have
ever seen on youtube or in my whole life. My doll hunt is over. I will never love another doll as much as this one.  My doll posed right out of the box. The face up looks almost identical to prototype photos. I am so happy!

  1. Doll stands really well on carpet. I am still finding it more difficult to pose her on smooth surfaces.
  2. All joints were poseable, fingers and toes.
  3. I received green eyes  and was expecting to see her eyebrows like her prototype. This would work well with strawberry blonde hair.
  4. I bought her a  French human hair Doll Wig, and was overjoyed that it matched her face up so well.
  5. Her butt is not nearly as large as it looks in the photos. I think the angle of the cameras makes her look like she has a huge rear. She is so skinny and lovely.
  6. I love her extra neck joint that I have not seen in any other type of doll. I think it makes her look unique.
  7. I love her tiny ears because they look so elf-like. I would like to pierce them when I get the guts to drill into such an expensive resin doll. Reminder: wear dust mask when carving resin.
  8. Speaking of resin, she did smell like fresh chemicals right out of the box. She did get here 2 days after she was finished. I don't know what the chemical smell is, because I have had resin dolls before that didn't smell at all. I know the smell will eventually wear off.
  9. She does not have body blush or tattoos but I didn't like the tats at all. That's why I chose this one over Christina. I thought Christina had the bigger more beautiful eyes. But now I think Stacy had a more natural look and not the doll-stare that is so haunting at times it makes me laugh.
  10. Her nose is slightly turned up and looks so cute. It gives her more of a youth look.

Tiny Tyltyl doll is next to Stacy's foot.  These dolls both are white resin. But they look almost like a pale normal yellow to me. Maybe it is the lighting but I see that in the dolls except for pink skin Impldoll.
This photo is Stacey's jointed foot with the detail of the toenail. It is amazing how detailed she looks to me.
Her jointed fingers make it so she can pose her hands and wear jewelry. Love the teeth also, she's just so sweet.
Here she is next to a 22" American Model by Tonner. I crocheted the lovely top right on Milady's body. Then tried the top on Stacy today.

Definitely not what I was looking for on Stacey. The natural cotton and lurex looks dark against the white skin of Stacey. Plus it fits too loosely. At least now I know the white skin really downplays the lurex lace. I probably won't use it to make things for Stacey. Notice how Tonner doll is built like perfect proportions. I didn't realize how real she looks till I put her next to resin BJDs. There's a world of difference in the American and Asian dolls. I still like the imagination of elves and fairies. The dolls are just so otherworldly.

    Fantasy vs. Fashion.
