This week after work I worked on another vinyl Goodreau ball-jointed doll.

I scrubbed marks off of Whisper's face and arms. I tried buffing and that didn't work. So I slathered her with Suave shampoo and used a wet dry sanding sponge from the dollar store. It worked like a charm but did remove all of her blush. That's okay because I really wanted to repaint her and give her blonde eyelashes. The dolls are usually too white and I had every intention of repainting her. I didn't remove the eyebrows but managed to add blonde to them to match her blonde eyelashes I gave her. I loved her mouth and teeth so I just darkened her lips with my own pastels to pull the colors together. I added some freckles and my palette of pastel blush. I added a hint of blue veins to her temples and neck and one to the forehead. I added veins to her arms and some blush to her arms, knees, nails, and hands. I still think she is too white and needs more body blush and a few more freckles. I also blushed her breasts.

I really love her wonky blue eyes. They're the kind that look like they follow you around. I have no idea who made them, because she's secondhand and hard to find. I borrowed Delilah Noir's wig for her. Her head seems to be a little bigger. I haven't measured the yet. Whisper looks really good with the 1/4 scale dolls and can be a friend to my group.
I tried some of the Goodreau MIM doll clothes and she fits leggings, shoes, boots, tops. Her waist is too small for the skirts and pants like most 1/4 scale dolls, because MIM is a play doll by Goodreau. The boots are a little big on her but I like it. Her stringing is different and I don't want her feet stuck in a shoe. The stringing consists of ball joints in the ankle and foot but no s-hooks. They look like threaded beads. It looks different from any bjd I have ever seen. Her knees have more of a mechanical joint with no elastic. I thought the feet were loose but she stands easily without support.
